I recently stayed at a small hotel on the high street in Saintes and I must say it was great value for money. The room was clean and cozy, with a surprise bonus of a small terrace complete with chairs and a table. The location was excellent, right in the city center and within walking distance to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.
The only thing that could've made the breakfast menu better would be a wider variety of options to choose from.

Great location, close to attractions and convenient for transportation. The hotel provided a parking lot, which was very convenient for guests with cars.- The room was clean and had a spacious and well-equipped bathroom.- The continental breakfast served at the hotel was satisfying and plentiful.
Communication was a major issue, as the staff did not speak English and had difficulty understanding. The walls of the hotel were very thin, allowing noise from other rooms to be heard clearly.
